  Meta Doesn't Find Buyers. Buyers Reveal Themselves. One of the biggest lies in modern advertising is the idea that Meta finds buyers. It doesn't. At least, not in the way most people think. Most advertisers approach Meta like a customer walking into a supermarket. They show up with money and say,  "Here. Go find me some buyers." Then they sit back and hope the algorithm performs a miracle. When the campaign works, they praise the algorithm.  When it doesn't, they blame the algorithm. Either way, they completely misunderstand what's actually happening.  Because Meta isn't a magician. Meta is a pattern-recognition machine.  And a pattern-recognition machine cannot recognize a pattern that doesn't exist. Think about it. If I showed you ten people and asked you to identify which one is a doctor, you'd probably struggle.
